Is Michelle Obama's defense of the movie "American Sniper" a great smack in the face to all the leftist attacks on it?

Update:

Progressives from Michael Moore to Jesse Ventura have attacked not only the film, but Chris Kyle himself. When the First Lady herself turns on her rabid base, is that a good day?

It's only a movie and what the First Lady thinks is irrelevant.

I have not seen the movie so can not comment on it.

Those currently occupying the White House LOVE the Power and Might of the American Military when They are the ones in Control.

They hate it when the other Party is in charge.

If the general population of Leftists were in charge they would support it.

Constitutional Conservatives recognize the wisdom of our Founding Fathers and want the Military run in accordance with the system outlined in our American Constitution. They hold no political prejudice regarding the topic, but complain when the President isn't doing his job.

As a leftist, it's the best anti war movie I have seen in a while. I am happy to hear that was the intent by Clint Eastwood.

I think more should be done for the veterans and the families if veterans suffering with ptsd.

It just proves that it's war propaganda no different then the ones in the old Soviet Union and is embraced from both sides the left right paradigm. Micheal Moore is a scumbag so who cares what he has to say and Jessie Ventura who's not even a leftist only said the movie has fabercations which every movie based on true stories has and sued Chris Kyle's estate for defamation of character since he lied about him talking **** about the troops wanting that lie taken out of the book. He would have dropped the lawsuit when Chris was alive if he took back what he said.

Any thing those people have to say about anything is for political purposes anyways. They "solved" the problem at the VA by firing the head guy in charge and yet I still have to wait 45 days for a non-emergency appointment from the doctors, nurses, and administrative staff who falsified all my records anyways. Everything is political to them and that's why everything to them has to do with politics! Even a MOVIE!

I don't care if she liked it or not. The guy was a murderer, paid by the government, so now he gets a movie about him made.

Doesn't change the fact that he's still a paid assassin and we still have the entire Middle East acting up b/c GWB couldn't be bothered to think things through but instead just had to start a war.

I mean, there are THOUSANDS of years of this happening throughout human history and they can't be bothered to try as different approach? The guy did nothing special. What's that phrase? 'You live by the sword, you die by the sword.'

I've yet to see any large number of leftists attacks on it, most of the hysteria seems to come from the right who seem to believe there is a great deal of venom being directed at the movie.

But yeah, people don't always agree, and it turns out the left isn't the one who treats the Obamas as a Messiah. It's the right who bring that up too.

Don't be ridiculous. People are allowed to hold differing opinions. There are conservatives who don't always hew to some specific party line on this or that issue. Why should you expect all liberals to do so? We don't and we don't expect to.

This is really rather a childish question.
