Do I make the first contact or wait for him after first sleepover?

I went to primary school with this guy, and it was his birthday 2 weeks ago. He turned 25. We are both single and I had always thought he was cute so I thought I would send him a private message saying Happy Birthday and seeing how he has been.

We chatted non-stop for two weeks and last night he came over for dinner and to watch a movie. We hadn't seen each other in years but it was like no time had passed and we really clicked.

We watched three movies, drank wine, laughed, talked and he ended up spending the night. We didn't go to sleep until 3am because we were talking so much. I had to go to work this morning but we layed in bed cuddling and kissing and talking which was so nice. He left when I left for work and he gave me a big kiss.

This was 2 1/2 hours ago. I don't know what to do now. Usually after a first date I won't contact the guy and will let him contact me. However, I feel like this is different.

1) We already know each other

2) I really felt like he liked me as much as I liked him

3) This wasn't a date

4) We've been chatting non-stop for 2 weeks

So, do I wait for him to contact me or if I haven't heard from him by the time I finish work do I reach out.. I really like him and don't want to play games but also don't want to come off as clingy/needy.

Help?

Dear, it's only been two and a half hours. If you don't want to come off as clingy, then relax, go for a walk, go do something and keep busy. Let him contact you. I've made the mistake many times of not being able to wait and contacted the guy, only to have my message go into VM or something. Then....I really worried. HA.

I'd say if you don't hear from him tonight THEN contact him.

    Hang in there.
