The bible does not give specific time frame how long Job suffered, but for the looks of the story, it was a while before God restored all things back to Job. For the bible says; Job end up having 7 sons, and tree daughters, and these were the most beautiful woman in the land.

He didn't *have* to suffer. He could have killed himself anytime and ended it. He *chose* to suffer.
