What do you think the REAL purpose of ISIS is? Seems like they are just seeking worldwide attention.Nothing to do with $$?

As someone else mentioned, they are just like any neighborhood gang. They are doing it for a sense of personal power, a sense of belonging to a group, and for money. There is no knowing how much countries have paid them in ransom if they are foolish enough to do that. And they have taken over oil refineries and are selling their products to the Turks. Fortunately, the Kurds took back one of them last week, so hopefully they will be hurting.

ISIS has been very clear about it's purpose; it's not a matter of MY opinion, or YOURS.

They seek to establish a Caliphate throughout the region. They have said that very clearly.

No, ISIS is NOT WINNING. Where you get that insane idea is unclear. That they have publicly murdered a few people in a horrific and disgusting way doesn't magically give them control over the middle east region.

Get a grip.

No, preventing news from reporting won't defeat ISIS. Cutting off their funding would do vastly MORE damage. Helping their victims (the people living in the area they control) would be better.

Pretending they don't exist won't help.

In case you hadn't noticed, ISIS is the world's only Islamic terrorist group that is busy conquering and holding territory to create a new country - an Islamic Caliphate - instead of just randomly killing people and blowing things up in the name of Allah like other Islamic terror groups.

Their goal to is to fulfill stuff in the Muslim holy book about Islam conquering the world by force.

ISIS is trying to do exactly that by trying to conquering Middle East nations before spreading like a cancer across the face of the Earth.

At present, there's 60 nations trying to keep ISIS contained in Syria and Iraq and recapture the territory that ISIS has already conquered.

The "REAL" purpose is to take over as much territory and gain as much power as possible.

Jordan was negotiating for the release of the Japanese captive, but they wanted their pilot back as well.

They demanded proof of life, but most likely ISIS had already killed him and couldn't provide it, so negotiations broke down.

ISIS uses social media, not the news networks, so a blackout would accomplish nothing.

The REAL purpose of ISIS is to make sure that women have no rights and remain as second or third class members of their mandated ISLAMIC society. In the meantime, the ISIS men also rape children.

Radical Islamists are blood thirsty pigs. They do it for street creds, money, attention and are no different than a black gang member. No wonder so many of them convert to Muslim in jail.
