If I'm renting a car Not for body work repair, will my car insurance pay for it? What part of policy should I be looking at?

    If you xar is damaged some policies offer a loan cat some can only be paid for if the other party us at fault.

    If your car is in for mechanical work no they will not pay.

    If you have rental reimbursement on your policy it doesn't cover you for any rental, only if you need one because your car is being fixed. Not for going on vacation - that you have to pay for. Call your agent for clarification on your policy terms.

    Call or visit your insurance agent and ask.

    Who would know better than the person who sold you the policy?
