Question about op amps for guitar effects?
First of all, i am wanting to use an non inverting op amp to make a booster pedal, but my question is this: can i use an op amp alone, or do i need to add other pieces to the circuit (i.e. RC filters or extra resistors)?

might need other pieces unless its a known circuit, it could do unwelcome stuff like oscillate .
maybe use some small plug in breadboard to test it
