Lie at Meps?

Okay, so when I was two, I was living with my father who was stationed in Kunsan. I got bit by a mosquito and kept scratching at it, it turned into a blister about the size of a quarter. I was taken to the hospital to have it popped by a doctor. I read that allergies to bug bites are PDQ. Until i was 13, went I went for physicals I would list mosquito bites as an allergy. I quickly realized it's not an allergy, my consatant scratching is what causes blisters. Am I PDQ? btw I have TriCare.

EVERYONE (with rare exception) is allergic to mosquito bites. That's what makes them itch! You just scratch too much and don't know when to stop.

An allergy the military would worry about would be if when you get bitten by a mosquito, your entire arm swells up, or you have difficulty breathing.

Compulsive scratching is not an allergy...but do you continue that behavior?
