I got a lottery ticket where all 5 of the white balls were 12 or less. Probability?
The game is choose 5 white balls from 59 without replacement. If I bought one ticket what is the probability of this happening? Please provide an explanation for my friends.

Exactly the same as any other number combination. The probability of winning is on the back of the ticket. Every number combination has an equal chance with any other combination.
Most importantly, remember that the lottery is a tax on people who are bad at math.

Well, I am assuming the high number possible is 99. If this is true, I think, since the numbers are independent of each other (are they), the probability would be about = to:
(.12)(.12)(.12)(.12)(.12) = 0.000048832 (Approximately)
