Is anyone else tired of "romance" novels that have women bound, chained, spanked, etc? It's abuse and disrespectful - even if guys like it.?

Well the only romance novel I know of that is like that is fifty shades of grey so I wouldn't say I was tired of them. And it's not really abuse or anything because usually they are both consenting adults. And they are not actually hurting them.But to answer your question I don't really like romance novels like that because I don't really consider that romantic.

BDSM is fine! So long as both participants are into it and they're being safe about it.

The problem with Fifty Shades and its myriad immitators is that the women in question is not into it and they're not being safe at all.

it's not abuse, and the reality is that more women are reading these types of novels than men.

and if you don't like it, don't read it. it's not like there aren't tons of romance novels without it.
