This is a comparison of apples and oranges.

The first printed Bible means nothing to the comparison. The oldest complete Bible dates to the mid 300's. There are many fragments and portions older. A piece of Mark dating to prior to 100 was identified last year.

(Interesting that Muslims claim the documents making the Bible have been altered when both a complete extant compilation predating the Quran by ~250 years and the history of the second generation of Christians demonstrates otherwise.)

And since the third Caliph, Uthman, destroyed all but one version of the Quran to remove the variations, there is no collection of early copies to compare to.

The Bible is authentic and for arguments sake we can say the Quran is authentic (though we cannot know for certain).

The problem is that they are irreconcilable ... so the question is which one is from God.

And since the Quran can only be accurate (and from God) if the Bible is inauthentic then the Quran is not accurate.

I do not follow the logic

The Bible has many written by hand versions long before the Quran was composed

Also, the current version of the Quran was edited by Uthman long after the first Qurans were written down and there are a few ancient copies that escaped the destruction such the Sa'ana Quran which shows that some passages were added later in the editing

The firstprinted Qurans in Arabic were long after the first Guttenburg Bible

If one compares the New testament to the Quran the new testament, though older, is more ethically and spiritually mature than the Quran, which is a throw-back to iron Age ethics

The Old Testament was translated from Hebrew, and the New Testament from Greek. Hebrew, particularly, is awkward to transalte as it is written without vowels, and had verbs which do not occur in English. Idiomatic phrases are untranslatable, eg. 'Sacre bleu' in French means 'holy blue', which means nothing in English, but in France if you said it in polite society, you've get thrown out! The Bible is as authentic as the translators could make it.

As Mohammed was illiterate he did not write the Quran, but dictated his thoughts to his friends. Some time after his death four different local versions in use at the time were combined into the Quran QurYan (c650AD) by Caliph Uthmann, but it is not known how much was original and how much he added. The Quran QurYan is the book of Law, and makes Islam a religion, not a faith, but due to Uthmann's work it cannot be considered authentic.

    That's not being honest!

Perhaps the first bible from a printing press was produced in 1456 (and I'm not saying it was).

Christianity and Judaism both existed long before the infantile Muslim religion was ever created. You people are nothing but peasants and murderers. Go back to praying behind the butt of someone better than you at your Mosques.

The Torah of the O.T. was written about 1000 years before they started writing the Quran. The Hebrew Canon was about 800 years older. The first letters of the New Testament were 500 years earlier than the Quran, and the Bible was canonized in the 200 years before the Quran. So if we are basing time of writing to authenticity the Quran looks like a fake.

The first printed Bible has nothing to do with the first written books. The Old Testament was written well before Christ, and the New Testament was written well before Quran.

There's something specifically dishonest in comparing the history of one book in written form, while limiting the other book to times when printing was invented.

The bible was written down centuries before printing was developed.

Have you not heard of the Dead Sea Scrolls?

Jesus is God's son and died in our behalf. He gave his life a ransom for millions!

NO prophet can make that claim. And adding to that, many claim to be prophets.

Though Muhammad preached peace, Islam is far from it. Every new "violent" law, replaces anything Muhammad said previously. Many Muslims are not ever aware of this.

Just leaving you with this thought....

"For the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword

and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints from the marrow, and is

able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

With Jehovah's holy spirit, Agape Love and Peace truly will prevail! You have to wait for God's kingdom to handle the situatuion. Dan. 2:44

    It isn't the Koran.

Some of the parchment pages in the Yemeni hoard seemed to date back to the seventh and eighth centuries A.D., or Islam's first two centuries—they were fragments, in other words, of perhaps the oldest Korans in existence. What's more, some of these fragments revealed small but intriguing aberrations from the standard Koranic text. - The Atlantic "What is the Koran?"

    Methinks you are brainwashed.

In the Quran, Christians are often referred to as among the "People of the Book," i.e. people who have received and believed in previous revelation from God's prophets. There are verses that highlight the commonalities between Christians and Muslims, and other verses that warn Christians against sliding towards polytheism in their worship of Jesus Christ.

"Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians -- whoever believes in God and the Last Day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord. And there will be no fear for them, nor shall they grieve" (2:62, 5:69, and many other verses).

"...and nearest among them in love to the believers will you find those who say, 'We are Christians,' because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant" (5:82)

Notice it says previous prophets of Christ, they claim the same forfathers, Abraham, Isacc and Jacob, they are a people that are no different the the early Catholic's who murdered anyone that didn't convert to the Catholic faith.

The scriptures call false beliefs an empire called Babylon the Great mother of harlots(prostitutes). The Bible also says there is only one true fait, only one Lord= Jesus Christ and only one true God= Jehovah God!

Jehovah is the God the Jewish people worshiped and still do, they rejected Jesus Christ as God's Son!

Any form of belief that does not believe Jesus is God's only begotten Son is a false belief, this includes those that don't believe in God or some ridiculous evolution!
