Can I open a credit card online, only use it once and close it?

This is a little crazy but I want to buy something that's $749. I'm 19 years old and I don't want it to show up on my bank statement because my parents will see it. It's not frivolous it's just really expensive Anyway, I have a job and will make the money on my own but I just need a different card to charge it on/ I don't get paid for another two weeks.

Thank you!

Update:

Also, I need to do this soon because the thing I want to get is limited supply.

Update 2:

Sorry, to clarify, with the new card I'd be recieveing the staements where I live at school. I can pay it back

How are you going to pay off the credit card bill because it will show in your bank account unless its going to be paid in cash without taking money from your account. Opening and closing a credit card is not good for your credit score.

Umm...how is that going to work? You still need to pay the balance on the credit card. If your parents watch over your bank statement, they're either going to see (1) a withdrawal for $750 or (2) that it is short $750.

You can APPLY for a card online, but you can't use it until the application is approved, the actual card mailed to you and you go through the activation security procedures.

Thats a terrible idea. If you want to take out another card.. actually use it.

Yes, but you have to pay off your debt.
