Why do lots of people today believe that God is behind all the suffering in this world?

Does God cause us to suffer?

“For a certainty, God does not act wickedly.”—Job 34:12.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Some say that everything that happens is God’s will. Thus, they believe that God causes us to suffer. When natural disasters strike, for instance, they think that these events are God’s way of punishing those who have sinned.

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS

The Bible clearly teaches that Jehovah does not cause us to suffer. For example, the Bible says that when we go through trials, it would be a mistake to say: “I am being tried by God.”

Why? Because “with evil things God cannot be tried, nor does he himself try anyone.” (James 1:13) In other words, God never causes the trials we face or the suffering that follows. To do so would be wicked, but “God does not act wickedly.”

Yes, that's partially true. The problems of this world is caused by the god of this system, SATAN! Just do a little Bible study and start here; (2 Corinthians 4:4) 4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.

(James 4:4) 4 Adulteresses, do YOU not know that the friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever, therefore, wants to be a friend of the world is constituting himself an enemy of God.

The Bible says, "...with EVIL things, God can not be tried..." Also:

2 Corinthians 4:4 (AMP) | " For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God."

Have you not read, "...Satan keeps TRANSFORMING himself into an angel of light..."?

Satan the Devil wants us to think all suffering comes from our loving Creator, Jehovah!

Jehovah warns us NOT to fall into temptation and sin, he loves us and wants us to accept his only begotten son, Jesus who died for all mankind!

You're wrong. God himself (NOT James, but from God's own mouth) says he does. James directly contradicts the word of God and thus must be removed from the bible.

"I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things." Isaiah 45:7

And what about the plagues of boils? Or when he gave the Philistines hemorrhoids for stealing the Ark of the Covenant? Or when he sent the Angel of Death to kill off all of Egypt's firstborns? Or when he gave Satan the green light to torment Job? If you think God never brings suffering, you need to read your bible. There are a hundred places where he sends suffering for your one verse in James.

A half a billion die every year from cancer, heart disease and strokes alone!

3 million die every year from starvation, drought and the diseases caused by it.

This god who Christians credit with creating and causing everything seems to love killing more people every second than the number of people that have ever been claimed to have been saved by his miracles!

Jehovah or (YHWH) has a very low IQ.

He is the cause, creator and the root of all problems - but it is hard to interpret that with low IQ's. It's easier to blame creations because he fuqqed up from his low IQ and didn't want to restart.
