HTC One M8 Electric Shock?

Ok so I bought a new HTC One M8 last May (2014) and it has been excellent in every single way. However lately I've been noticing that when the phone is charging or connected via an aux cable, that I get a small electric shock from the metal casing. Now I have used multiple different chargers and different auxiliary cables but it happens time and time again. I feel as though this isn't very safe and that I should bring it back to the store. What should I do?

If you've been part of the U.S. that's been in a deep freeze lately, the cold air is much dryer, and it makes it easier to get static shock, but you'll notice that first with doorknobs and clothes, not with your phone.

I think there's something defective with your phone, and you should take it back right away. Even if it doesn't hurt you, something on the phone will break soon, and even if they don't change the phone now, having it on record that you saw a problem will make it easier to exchange phones later when it really does break. (The user manual probably tells you to take the phone back if you experience any shocks like that).

Don't worry,it won't harm you......its just the static discharge. But still,if you want it corrected then a visit to the store would be good. I think the problem is in the phones charging point (manufacturing defect).
