Where were you on 9/11?

I was working at the home office of a friend and he came in and said a plane hit the WTC. I asked, what kind of plane, a small private? He said ya - then came back a few mins later and said, now they think it was a bigger plane. So we went into his living room and watched the TV. As it unfolded, we stayed like that all day - watching TV, everything else forgotten.

In my 2nd grade classroom, 10 miles away from NYC.
