Why does steam slow down my computer to crashing every time I turn on my computer?
I installed steam and everything. I started playing some games there that takes almost 6,000k and everything was fine. But a few days later, my computer starts going so slow until I uninstalled steam, everything went back to normal again. My dad always said to not install steam if I manage to prevent the computer to shut down. I have an HP Pavilion Elite HPE and it works very nice. I played minecraft with mods in it and it worked fine. What should I do?

steam is preforming self checks and updating I can suggest setting steam not to launch when your computer starts. That should help
