Canon mg2120 issues?
So RANDOMLY...my printer won't print correctly. was working fine LITERALLY 10 minutes ago. I just bought black ink, the color is empty (no need for color prints) so I always have "print in greyscale" selected. Tried aligning, and it printed the test page just fine. I also changed the used cartridge in the driver settings to "Black only." Now when I try to print (still in greyscale) it pops up a message saying this specific job will use the color cartridge...even when the picture itself is black and white!! Absolutely NO clue why it's trying to use color on EVERY PRINT but it's pissing me off -_- anyone know what to do?

Some color ink is used even if you only print in black
Your printer is designed to stop ALL printing operations when any of the ink cartridges are low or empty. This is to ensure the life of the print head and maintain premium print quality. If the unit were to continue printing, print jobs and cleaning cycles would suck air from the empty cartridge and damage the print head. Even if you print in black only or change the print settings to "Mono" or "Grayscale" to avoid printing in color, the programmed cleaning cycles would still suck air from the empty cartridge, because they are programmed to clean ALL the ink nozzles. The only way to continue printing is to replace the empty ink cartridge(s).
