Maths Question?

Given s=log[b] (y), express in terms of s, (log[b]by^2) + (log[b](sqrt(y)))+(log[b]((by)^2)))

ie. gives s=log base b of by squared, express in terms of s, 4log base b of (by) squared plus log base b of square root of y + log base b of (by) to be squared.

Update:

This was a question on my maths test, and I got it wrong, but I wanted to see where I went wrong, so if you can, please help! Tks!

    From log properties, we get:

    (log[b]by^2) + (log[b](sqrt(y)))+(log[b]((by)^2)))

    log[b] b + 2*log[b] y + 1/2*log[b] y + log[b] b^2 + 2*log[b] y

    = 1 + 2s + s/2 + 2 + 2s

    = 3 + 9s/2
