Building a PC, but installing Mac OS?
So I've built a couple PCs and my brother wants me to build him one...just one issue..he wants a Mac haha I could go on about how much I hate Apple, but respect that he wants it for the programs/software (the only thing Apple does good). I've heard it's possible BUT only certain hardware is compatible with Mac OS. How would I go about doing this? Would just rather build him a great computer for half the price of a 1/2 as powerful Mac.
hahaha for one, wasting $$ is buying a MAC. Secondly, you can buy Mac OS X to put on a computer so it isn't a violation of anything. Rethink the way you look at Apple.

The generic name for a machine like that is a "Hackintosh".
There are quite a few sites dedicated to building them & giving info on compatible parts:

Installing Apple/Mac OS on any PC that isn't a genuine Apple Macintosh computer constitutes a violation of Apple's TOS

You officially can only get Apple Mac OS on a new Apple Mac PC. It is not available as a separate install.
