Sims 3 has the most content but a lot of it is expansions that aren't free. Sims 4 is the newest and I've only heard of fans enjoying the game personally. Sims 2 I had the most fun with as it was my starting point into the sim universe.

In the Sims 2, two males can woo hoo and one ends up being pregnant and he has an alien baby! Definately Sims 2. The SIms 3 took fun things like that away. Plus, it's harder to get abducted by aliens in 3. Well aliens do actually visit your home in 3 and you can befriend them and marry them but... I'd rather have a male give birth to an alien.
