is this filter good enough?

Hello I was wondering if the aqua clear fluval filter will be good enough for a red blood parrot cichlid and a firemouth cichlid in a 50 gallon tank. So the aqua clear filter is the one with the 3 different inserts, and it'll be the model for tanks up to 70 gallons, and I will have it set to maximum gph which is 300gph, will this be good enough?

It wouldn't hurt to add another smaller cheaper filter to the tank as well. You want the AquaClear at 300GPH plus another filter that will do 200GPH. But with enough water changes you should be able to get away with the Aquaclear alone.
