Can t be more specific because I don t remember how I got that info in the first place.
the problem is, I can t find any for my WAN miniport.

You have to go to the computer vendor site, or the motherboard manufacturer site, and download the proper drivers from them. Be sure to match the OS (32 or 64 bit), and the version of Windows you have.
If the vendor does not have a driver for your motherboard, odds are there is none. That said, if running Win7, often Vista drivers will work, after Win7 complains about them not being "certified". Just access the driver anyway...
Do not use random drivers from the Internet, there is no guarantee they are valid or will work properly (as you have seen...)
