I don't have the "corrective lenses" restriction on my driver's license. In 2009 I had to go to glasses for night driving.?

In 2013 I was told I probably would not pass the driver's license eye exam. My license is not up until 2018. We only have to take the eye test every 12 years with web renewal. I should add in 2009 I started wearing them when driving in daylight most of the time anyway. In 2013 I was told I could wear them all the time which I had been doing pretty much anyway. My question is do I need to report this and take the exam at the Indiana DMV? As far as I know my Eye Dr. has not reported it to the DMV.

Update:

I'm going with the first answer for best answer but they are all good. Yes I do wear my glasses when drivng.

    Just wear your glasses.

I don't think that you are under any legal obligation to report the change and get your licence amended, but if you know you need to wear glasses, you should do so all the time.

Next time you get your licence renewed, tell them you have now got glasses, and they will update the details on the new licence.

No, you are not obligated to report this information to the DMV. Simply wear your glasses when needed.
