How to find a birth certificate for someone born in a military family?
My father was born in 1955, supposedly in Hawaii. His father was in the Navy and moved quite a bit.So he may have been born on a Naval Base. Since Hawaii did not become a state until 1959, how do I go about looking for his birth certificate?

Hawaii was still part of the US, albeit a territory. The birth certificate should be available from the county.
