where can I find a summer job that involves with acting?

I've been hoping to become and actress but here's the problem. I'm 15 and I also want to be a chef. acting and cooking has been my 2 favorite thing to do. and i really want to be an actress, the thing is i have school and i was hoping to be a movie or tv extra over the summer or during school. the reason is that my acting teacher has been very bias he never liked me from the beginning when i had audition for into the woods I soon later found out he already had his people. so I wonder why waste people time since you already had your pick. and the sad thing is 3 people can't even sing at all. it sounded like screeching tires. oh almost forgot my friend was also being treated unfairly. me and her was looking for a job but so far no luck.

Sorry, but that's not going to work.

Being an extra is NOT acting - it's just being a human piece of scenery. It wouldn't help you to get into acting.

If you want to try to get into acting, you need to do several things.

One, work harder at school. Your English is weak, and while it may not be your first language, it's not good enough to become an actor.

Two, join a real acting school and get ready for many years of very hard work.

Three, join a youth or community theatre - you need real experience.

Four, understand that moaning about favouritism, unfairness, and criticising other performers is a HUGE no-no. Only immature little kids do that.

Acting on stage for a paying audience usually means evening work. Working as a cook often involves evening work. Get the picture?

And indeed do try to find somebody different to teach you English, since your present teachers have failed you.

There are legal restrictions for minors to work in the industry in the US. Depending on where you live you may need a work permit or trust account established in your name.

To be an extra you need to live near where they are filming something that needs extras. You could research local casting companies to register with them. But as a minor with restrictiond on when and how long you can work, companies may not register minors. Some information about being an extra - http://bizparentz.org/gettingstarted/backgroundwor...

BTW-Being an extra is not considered acting experience and is not that helpful in an acting career.

More professional acting (like being in a movie) involved unions and talent agents and the like. Not something easy to do - here's more information about that: http://bizparentz.org/thebizness/onlinecasting.htm...

And complaining about your teacher like this makes you seem very immature and not someone professionals would want to work with. Avoid that in the future.

I suggest that first of all you re-learn how to write the English language. You have dozens of mistakes in your question. People who hire others look for good educated folk. You do not qualify, if you continue to use such bad writing skills. Sorry. I tell it like it is.
