If the cattle co don't charge more for the way the feed the cattle in the summer compare to the winter; why should the gas co. be able to?

Demand, Hay and other feeds often go up over the winter months until more can be grown in the summer. With gas cold weather causes more gas to be used thereby causing a scarcity and higher prices.

It is not that the Gas Company is ABLE to. It is that the EPA tells them they MUST.

See, you little libbies ask for all these burdensome regulations, and you think they are FREE.

the truth is that the Summer formulation for gasoline is more expensive to produce. Plain and simple.

You need to stop thinking that ANY company is going to absorb higher costs out of their margin. It will ALWAYS be passed on to the customer.

You wanna start fining cable companies for doing what they do? Well you are going to start paying more for cable then!

You are at the mercy of your local electrical/gas company when they want a rate increase.In most cases you cannot chose another company to heat , cool ,or run your house since there most times only one gas/ electrical company serving your area.

Most cattle companies are small and family run.

You use more gas during the winter than you do in the summer, that is why your gas is more....unless you have a gas co. that charges a variable fee for gas....

In the summer they feed a lot on grass in the woods and fields!
