why do people block me only to questions about me?

Not when they're chicks.

It doesn't happen often, considering the incredible power it gives the blocker, but an occasional practice of some of the more malicious trolls on this site is to ask a provocative question, find somebody (like my idiot self) who will answer it in a fashion they disapprove of, then block him.

A few minutes later, the blocker can reply insultingly, then, quickly ask another question that twists the context, targets you, who are blocked, and then effectively create a challenge that turns public opinion against you, especially when only one side is being represented, and also making you look like a ninny who isn't replying to any of it because, unbeknownst to everybody else, you've been helplessly blocked.

The only recourse is to pull a wasteful and undignified move of starting your own question that rants about the person who blocked you and is causing problems, but, by that time, the damage is done and you STILL look like a ninny.

Worst troll move. Drives me nuts.

It'll drive me to log off for a day.

But ANYWAY, that is why they do it.

It's a taunt that, amusingly enough, you can't reply to.

I guess it's kind of a power trip.

1. They lack the skill and finesse to take your intelligence on

2. You made remarks that hit too close to home

3. You made remarks that would expose them (like everybody didn't know already) as posers.

4. To try to stir up others against you.

5. It is supposed to be the dumb cowards big "revenge"

If you're still asking 'block' questions, son, you aint earned your stripes

when you come in here lamenting the potential friendships you've destroyed because you cannot give up your principles - when you've been through that ******* torture - you come back in here and tell me about your blocks

"Mangina" sounds about right.

This sort of thing's happened to me a few times. They do that when they no valid argument, yet too fragile of an ego to lose.
