Connected to Internet but can t download anything?
My computer can t download anything anymore. I keep trying to update graphics card and I get "can t connect to NVIDIA check your Internet connection" but the signal strength is 5/5 bars. I can t download games or patches, I can t install Google Chrome.
This just recently started happening. Please tell me what system information you need to help and I give details.

the signal strength means you are connected to a wireless network, probably via a wireless router/modem it doesn't necessarily mean the router is connected to the internet, try resetting the modem / router by turning it off for a minute and then turn it back on, after five minute reboot your PC

Try tools>internet options>connections>lan settings
if the proxy server box is checked, uncheck it
download driver booster (where it says DOWNLOAD NOW) to update all out of date drivers. WAIT FOR IT TO UPLOAD http://download.cnet.com/Driver-Booster/3000-18513...

click the date tab to show what was just downloaded
