Peshmerga v. Iraqi Armed Forces?

Looking ahead to the future, after ISIS is eventually worn down to nothing and Iraq is a "free" nation once again, do you believe Iraq's northern territory of Kurdistan will continue to push for independence? What do you think a possible conflict would look like? Outcome?

I think they will push for independence...or at least a more predominant role in government. I think that Kurdistan should be its own country. The modern boundaries of Iraq were established by the British back in the early part of the 20th century, not by the people that actually live there. That's part of the reason there is so much conflict in the Middle East and Africa...it forced together groups that historically were separate.

They should trifurcate Iraq into the 3 areas because Sunni, Shiite, and Kurds will not agree to a unified government, ever.
