Anyone know what TV show this is?

I only watched the first episode over a year ago, I can't even remember what channel it was on. I remember this guy was about to be executed but the priest helped him escape was he could protect this little girl who had some badass powers. You knew the little girl was his daughter, but pretty surw he didn't know. Can't remember anything else. Any ideas?

yes, I remember that.. it was called Believe, it was on NBC for one season 2013 -14. only lasted 12 episodes of the 13 made...
