It will be uncomfortable for you to ride. I'm 6'4" and rode an R6 for about 6 months, and I had to get rid of it; riding shouldn't hurt, right? And because of your height, handling will be affected. The form factor of the R1 isn't significantly different.
I'm riding a 2012 MT-01 now. Much better, can ride for hours if I want.

I would think you'd be uncomfortable on an R1 at your size. But how a bike fits is entirely subjective. Nobody can tell you how it will feel to YOU. The ONLY way to tell is to find one and sit on it and make up your own mind.

You are too tall for any sportbike. They are not made for comfort. I'm 5'10" and my knees hit my elbows. But they are supposed to, that's the aggressive riding position supersports offer.

Dual sports and adventure bikes are notorious for having ridiculously high seats. Might be perfect for you.
