Majora's Mask Goron Race?
So I recently got a copy of Majora's Mask for the 3DS, and I'm trying to win the Goron race to get the Gilded Sword.
I've tried several times and lost... I keep getting hit by the other racers, which ruins all chances of winning because you lose your momentum, and it's nearly impossible to avoid getting hit.
Is there any way to win more easily aside from not getting bumped into?

Do your best to curve with the track, so know what's coming up. Jumps put you in the air and help avoid hits. No matter what, keep going...it took me ~5 races and on the penultimate, I was stopped (from spikes) once and got in second, but when I finally won, I actually was stopped three times. I think the AI allows you to catch up when this happens so it's more about end-race gameplay.
