What type of amp do I need?
I've got a 2001 Honda Accord EX with a Sony CDX-GT570UP head unit. I'm getting Alpine SPE-6000 6.5 for the front and Alpine SPE-6090 6x9 in the rear. What type of amp should I get and how much power do I need? Also, should it be alpine as well? Thanks

It doesn't have to be alpine. There's no advantage electrically to having the same brand amp as speakers.
Since the 6's are 60w rms and the 6x9's are 75w I would look for a 4 channel that's in the 75w rms range per channel. A little more or less won't make much difference.
Some possibilities:

What you need is a 4 channel amp for the mids and highs.
It doesn't have to be Alpine. Don't get the cheapest amplifier you can find out in the market because it will perform cheap. Spend $150 - $300 on a quality amplifier. In the car audio industry, you get what you pay for.
