History Buffs... Was English spoken in 15-16th centuries in Hungary?

I'm not much on history.. Sorry if this is a dumb question... But was English spoken in 15-16th centuries in Hungary or was it a learned language and if so... Any examples of how the dialect may have sounded?

A few scholars and diplomats might have spoken English as a second (or more likely third or fifth or eighth) language, but that's about it.

No. Aside from a very few, I'd imagine. England was not particularly important in that era. Latin was the tongue of academia and French the tongue of diplomacy. If you had to name a lingua franca for that era it would be French.
