What is the name of the wall plug that allows you to share your internet connection through the home via the socket?

Update:

Basically you gotta plug it directly into the wall, then anyone with the same one plugged into the wall can pick it up

Update 2:

No allows you to plug the rj45 into it. But it shares the connections through the power outlet. You actually plug it into the power outlet in one area, and plug another one to any area you want to share it at.

Update 3:

Ok I remember now, it was the powerline adapter. thanks for the effort in helping

I use Powerline networking. An example of which is:

There are various makes and models. In my example, you can get two Ethernet plus WiFi from the second (larger) adapter.

In my case I have three Ethernet-only adapters permanently plugged in. One by the router, one for the Internet connection for the TV and one for my main desktop computer. I also have a fourth adapter with Ethernet and WiFi that is used where I need it around the home. You can have around 7 or 8 adapters in a single Powerline network.

My download speed at the router is just over 37 Mbps, and over 35 Mbps after going through the Powerline network.

    I hope this helps.

The system is called "Homeplug" - quite a few companies make compatible units.
