How did Americans convince Jim Crow Southerners to finally stop burning black people alive? And would the same thing work on ISIS?

The Republicans from the North passed laws to stop the Southern KKK Democrats from getting away with their hate crimes. Democrats like Robert Byrd and Al Gore Sr had to lay low and pretend to be reformed.

It actually is the same thing that government on the Arabian Peninsula have to do to stop ISIS but they are afraid that too many in their own population and military at minimum sympathize with ISIS.

Jim Crow Southern Democrats were driven out and now reside in blue states. They are the ones who keep racism alive for votes - no other reason.
