Isn't it freeing when you finally let go?
Just like the song Let Her Go. I never understood the song till tonight. You only know you love her when you let her go. I let go of the hope that me and my best friend Erica will never be anything more than what we are now, extended family. I've loved her since the moment I met her. She just has this aura about her. She's simply amazing in every way. She broke up with her bf yesterday, today we talked about us. She's always known how I feel about her. I just can't be shy with her. In some ways she knows me better than I know myself. We've always been there for each other no matter what. Even though the know she loves me as a brother, not a lover, I know I will always have her love. It still hurts, but knowing for a fact that it can never be has lifted a huge weight of my shoulders. We can only get closer. Has anyone else gone through a similar situation and if so, did it free your soul? I truly believe my soul and heart are free to love again.

Your feelings are only momentarily buried in depths of your mind out of fantasizing in the past, of what you over hoped the relationship should have been contrary to it's existence that involved another man that you wished you were but wasn't, In short your feelings will remain nothing more then where they have been all along and that's simply being a close friend,. Keep mind that if she suspected that your feelings were much more then what you presented in the past. She would have sent you a sign acknowledging what her feelings were that might have led down a different path for the both of you's,. It will simply remain what it's been all along for the both of you's and that's friendship ,. You have always been free,. you simply put loving someone on hold because you were living a fantasy,. It's time to wake up and move on,,,,, .
