Why do humans communicate with something as animalistic and primitive as body language?

men don't women do. I really think women believe that the human language was created by man so we can be right all the time. So women dismiss words in favor of "everything else" like how a man dresses, code words or how he behaves. anything but what he says. which is odd because men put a lot into how they verbally approach a woman. if most men ever knew that woman didn't go by what men say, men would find the whole exercise as completely useless and resort to being psychic or using sign language.

Body language is the most true and tried method of communication. Volumes of information can be communicated by a simple way a person holds body posture or eye contact, lack of eye contact. An entire essay would be required to convey a single facial expression. Tone of voice, pupils of the eyes dilate contract depending on how comfortable one person feel with another. Body language is true and tried.....

Developing a more expansive , more logical thinking cerebral cortex didn't replace the functions of our more primitive brain. Facial expressions are instinctive, most common to all cultures. Some other body language is learned, some instinctual.

Because we've yet to transcend into a pure energy form, relying solely on telepathy or some weird transference to communicate. We're basically slugs.

    Because we are animals.

In fact, we are so primitive that we share 50% of DNA with bananas.

The body language came before words were spoken.

Because we haven't evolved beyond our bodies yet.

We are animals; anybody saying otherwise is a deluded anthropocentric animal in denial.

    I don't.

I strictly communicate with smoke-signals. Indeed, I am connected to the internet via a smoke-signal link.

Because we have a very long evolutionary history.
