The sound is built into most motherboards today. Adding a sound card is usually a waste of time and money.
Your computer will take just about any video card out there. Almost all motherboards have a slot for video cards. I can recommend some if you like.
Of course, you will have to change the power supply to have enough power for the video card and the system. I can recommend those, too. :)
