I have issues reading.?

My vision is good. I've had them checked by an Optometrist. For all of life 45 now, I've had issues, but never tried to fix it, mainly because I don't know who to see. Some symptoms are, eyes tend to jump to the end of a sentence or paragraph. It requires a lot of effort to focus at the beginning and work forward. Any ideas.

Update:

I have an eye stigma corrected by glasses, one eye. If that matters.

Sure, you have a genetic defect that is the source of your problem. For some people word jump around and they need a specific color of plastic sheet over the material or eyeglasses of that color. The general name for this condition is dyslexia. Speak with your general practioner doctor to start.
