What colour carpet with white walls and black furniture?

Hmmm...! I would say if you are thinking of selling sometime in the not too distant future, go for a neutral color like beige or grey. Buyers don`t like colored carpet. But if you are going to stay a long time perhaps go a little crazy and pick out something like a turqoise blue and some turqoise pillows for the sofa along with some geometric style black and white ones? Or another color you like? That would add some interest to the room. Alternatively you can`t beat wood flooring with a brightly colored rug and matching pillows.
