What kind of chars should I use with an antique round oak dining table?
We have an open floorplan. Corner living room fireplace -- white trim with peach granite. Beige carpet. Walls are blue/gray with white trim. Black and beige granite countertop.
I have black accents in the room. Drapes are subtle flora lbeige with green, tan, and a bit of garnet red
There is an oak hutch behind the table. I took off the gold hardware and replaced with glass knobs. The feel of the space is traditional/eclectic, not country at all. I love the table -- need to keep the hutch, but my chairs are falling apart. Any ideas??

good chairs are not cheap and used furniture is exactly that ''used up'' == I suggest that you look and shop at name brand furniture stores --- maybe an Ethan Allen Furniture Gallery or online for the furniture stores in the nearby cities ... try to match the oak and get 2 arm chars and 4 side chars and if you have the space for 2 more arm chairs then that will be really nice for a dinner party of eight ...

Simple straight backed Mission style oak chairs go well with round oak tables and also coordinate well with many traditional decor styles without looking too "country".
