I'm a vet tech with tons of experience, working for a great group of docs, who have taught me much. I have lots to share, but would never do any harm to a pet with my answers. I will always defer to taking pets to a good vet.

  • Why is the Hotmail password the accepted password for my husband's user account on Windows 10?

He changed his password to his Hotmail account on our new computer. We had not yet set up user accounts on this new computer. Then when I went to use it (under new user) his name appeared, and it asked for a password to continue! We had no idea that the pw was the new one for his Hotmail account. How'd that happen??

I just tried every password we've ever used for anything, until it worked.

  • How can I change a business facebook page I started for my boss?

I work for a veterinarian who owns several animal hospitals. He had a professional service start our current page and add me as admin. Now he would like me to start and manage a page for another site. I went online and created a page, but it made me use my personal email and password. How can I change this to the animal hospital email and password? Thanks.

  • Can you help with my living area?

Beige carpet, pale shadow/bluish walls, white trim, white mantle with peach granite hearth. Cherry hi boy/tv cabinet, burgundy leather sofa and easy chair. Behind the sofa, though, is an antique, round oak dining table (it's worth a lot and I need to keep it) It's craftsman! I have craftsman chairs with black leather seats. AND as if that weren't enough, the hutch is our 1980's country hutch that looks more brown than cherry. I need a coffee table, so what to do?? I can't throw out anything I already have. Thanks. Guess it's "eclectic."

  • What kind of doctor do you see for trigger points?

I have trigger points all over. There is a large one on the inside of my elbow. Currently I am in Physical Therapy for an entrapped sciatic nerve, and there are trigger points all around the pyraformis muscle and others. It isn't my bones nor joints nor vessels. It's kind of nerves, since they get trapped. I just need to know what on earth kind of doctor to see? My GP sent me to physical therapy, but I want to know WHY I keep getting them and fix it.

  • Can I freeze mixed fruit?

I made a fruit tree for a party, using cantaloupe balls, strawberries, and grapes. I took the tree apart and have a bag of fruit that we can't eat before it ruins. Can I freeze the mixed fruit in the bag? Will it be good later?

  • How to clean concrete?

Our patio is on the North side of the house, and the part next to the house is never in the sun. We have black gunk that stays on it year 'round. A couple of years ago we took a broom and scrubbed with bleach, which disintegrated part of the concrete! So we aren't wanting to use bleach. I do think we just poured the bleach and scrubbed and then rinsed, though. Any thoughts would be great. I'm tired of a dirty-looking half a patio!

  • Which phone to get?

I cannot afford the iphone 6, and know little about any others, except droid, which I have had issues with but did like a bit.

  • Can you help me figure out Verizon?

I have a Droid phone and am on month to month with Verizon. When I tried to order an Iphone on the Verizon website, they told me there are no more contracts. I found one for 99 cents with a 2 year contract. I also found cheap ones on Target's site "with a 2 year contract." The Verizon customer service online told me that those offers are invalid, because they don't use contracts anymore, and that I will have to make monthly payments for a phone if I need a new one. I am approved for an "upgrade."

So my question is this: Is there a way anymore to get a cheap i-phone? We have good service with Verizon and like their coverage. But why should I pay over $20 a month forever, when I see in at least two websites (Verizon's own and Target) that I can get a 2 year contract and cheap I-phone.

Thanks in advance. I do like the Droid, except for a few issues with photos.

  • What small tree or large shrub should we plant?

We live in GA. The area in question is on a slope. On the back side is our bedroom; on one side is the retaining wall at the end of our house; one side is to our patio, and the front side slopes down into our back yard. We are wanting to block the view to the house next door. In winter, this area is completely in the shade, but in summer it's total hot GA sun! I have used banana trees and sunflowers with success during the summer, but of course there's nothing there in winter. We are looking for a small tree or large shrub to block the view. Something that's easy care, able to withstand the cold without sun, but also able to take the 100 degree hot sun in summertime. Thanks!

  • Anyone familiar with pre-schoolers and art?

Our grandson is 3. When he draws or paints, he will put his brush in one spot, the size of a quarter, and rub there until it's all brown with the paper sloughing off. He seems to be "stuck" there. After a few minutes, he will ask what the little rolls of paper are that are pilling up from the marks he is making. I have never seen children do this. He is not impressed with colors and doesn't really care which color he uses. He is mesmerized by the almost hole he's making in his paper, plus he loves watching the paintbrush in the cup of water when rinsing the brush. I just don't remember our son doing anything like that at all. He is "speech delayed," if that means anything. Also, our son (his dad) has full custody and has remarried a wonderful girl with a 5 year old son -- a really nice blended family. Our grandson has not seen his mother since he was a year old. Don't know if that means anything or not. Thanks!

  • Any art teachers out there?

Have you had experience with 3 year olds that continually color/paint/draw over the very same exact spot on the paper over and over again until the paper starts to slough off? On a white board, same thing--- marker over a one inch space over and over and over again, without moving around the board. Is this normal?

  • Chalk paint question?

I sanded and painted bookcases last year, using a water-based paint in a spring green color. Well, it's just too darn green! Was thinking about using chalk paint over it, but don't know what color would look good -- and whether it would stick. The room has pale beige carpet, white trim, and spring green walls.

  • Has there been a change in subject/verb agreement by those on television?

Is it just me, or has there been a change in the way people, especially pundits, newscasters, etc. use subjects and verbs?

I find myself wincing at the screen, hearing subjects that I believe are singular, used with plural verbs!

Either I learned it totally wrong, or there has been a change.

  • Corded or cordless electric lawn mower?

We have a small yard to mow. My concern with the corded variety is that I have a flower garden between the outlet and the lawn. I worry about the cord vs the flowers. And my concern with battery mower is that something will go wrong with the battery and I'll have to buy another one for over $100. Looking at Black and Decker corded mowers and Worx cordless.

  • How do I know when I should speak in court?

I have successfully intervened into a court case, without an attorney. One party to the motion has a lawyer, and the other does not. I am the third party. How will I know when I may speak to the judge in court?

  • What kind of chars should I use with an antique round oak dining table?

We have an open floorplan. Corner living room fireplace -- white trim with peach granite. Beige carpet. Walls are blue/gray with white trim. Black and beige granite countertop.

I have black accents in the room. Drapes are subtle flora lbeige with green, tan, and a bit of garnet red

There is an oak hutch behind the table. I took off the gold hardware and replaced with glass knobs. The feel of the space is traditional/eclectic, not country at all. I love the table -- need to keep the hutch, but my chairs are falling apart. Any ideas??
