. I think it partly has to do with his image issues and real life brushes with the law for things related to guns, threats of harm to others and violence towards women. He wants to distance himself from the old gangsta rapper persona and has toned down the dramatics in trying to sell fights. Floyd is getting older and maturing as a person, he also knows he's near the end of his career and wants to finish as a halfway decent and respectable person. He's had his fun playing the bad guy, now Floyd's just trying to be Floyd.

He doesn't want to piss him off. Pac liked Hatton and Barerra and look what he did to them. Mayweather could get ****** harshly by Manny and he knows it.

He knows Manny could knock him out and he doesn't want to get embarrassed in case it happens.

This is the biggest fight of their lives. They both will make big money out of this from each other... So ofcourse they need to respect each other.

Maybe its because we're nice to him, too. He's given us the fight, right? So lets all be thankful to Floyd now. Please.

Because he knows this is a make it or break it fight.
