A dodecahedron is a 3-dimensional solid with 12 pentagonal faces. Are you looking for the surface area?
If so, you would find the area of one pentagon and then multiply by 12.
Surface area of a dodecahedron:
≈ 12 * 1.72 * s²
≈ 516 sq. inches
If instead you meant a dodecagon (2-dimensional polygon with 12 sides), the answer is about 280 sq. inches.
