Who thinks WWE needs competition so pro wrestling will be better again?

Real competition is good for everybody.

Wrestlers get more security, as they can switch companies.

Different wrestlers/stories get pushed.

Ratings show what the viewing audience really wants to see.

WWE/F never did better than when they beat wCw during the Monday Night War.

The total wrestling audience was at its highest.

They drew more paying fans.

They sold record merchandise.

The market value of the WWE made it's CEO a (paper) billionaire.

The interest in the product was so high they had a Super Bowl halftime show, guest spots in comedies, startrek, hosted SNL.

All of this has gone away, with the WWE wrestling monopoly.

Well it's no secret Competition [and Controversy] creates ca$h, but The People would still find a reason to bury World Wrestling Entertainment just because it's WWE.

I just said that the other day, once WCW went out of business wrestling became dry because the WWE doesint have anyone pushing to make a better product and TNA was no where near the comp WCW was hell TNA wasint even the comp ECW was. If the WWE put out this PG era/John Cena nonsense against Bishoff and the NWO in 97 the WWE would have been the ones being bought out by Ted Turner

WWE does need competition, but it won't get it because WWE is the largest and most successful Sports Entertainment in the world. Id like to see better storylines

If your meaning the wrestling yes, they do. I watched a ladder match that was back in the day and EVERYONE WAS FLYING EVERYWHERE. Definitely wwe makes a good storyline whether you think its fake or not. But i have to say the wrestling has to improve i totally agree with you man. If you were meaning something else then sorry.

Me. And I think TNA are the only ones that can do that but there a long way off being a WWE rival.

wwe needs to fire the whole creative staff so new stories can happen. you can watch other promotions you know. wwe is not the ONLY promotion in the world.
