What is the best CPU upgrade for my Dell Dimension 2350?
Is it the Pentium 4 -3.4Ghz???? It is 100% factory from dell with a 478 socket.
I cant buy a new PC this is my work computer and i tried getting them to buy a new one and its a no, the absolute best thing i can do is upgrade i upgraded my ram already from 512mb to 2gb 400mhz (266mhz max on the mobo) but the cpu is horrible 1.7 Intel celeron.
It's hard going from an i7, SLI 970s, 16gb ram to this every day :(

You have such an old computer, it would be better to buy a new one rather than upgrade. There's not much to upgrade either except to a Pentium 4 Extreme Edition, which is not worth the money.
