Wrestling Section: Do you think Rey Mysterio Jr.'s legacy is now tainted?
With the death of Perro Sguayo Jr., do you think that Rey Mysterio's legacy is now tainted? I understand that it is not Mysterios fault and I think it's ridiculous for whoever is blaming him for it, but even if it isn't his fault, do you think Mysterios legacy and name is now tainted? Let's al look at what happened with D'Lo Brown after he paralyzed Darren Drozdov, he was a nobody after a year. With Mysterio possibly retiring now, what do you think of Mysterios name being tainted?
PS: Don't blame Mysterio for this horrible tragedy. I wanted the footage of that match and Mysterio was wrestling just like the way he did in WWE years before leaving, he wasn't doing anything wrong and was extra careful in fact (the dropkick on the shoulder). I'm sure this incident will haunt Mysterio for the rest of his life and his conscience is not going to let go of him, understand people, blaming him for the freak accident is not right

Somewhat sure. Maybe not even on purpose but some people will shy away from him now. For example if he did endorsements, those companies would more than likely disassociate themselves from him. They just don't need that kind of thing.

When was the last time Rey Mysterio Jr. was relevant, Mysterio pretty much already 'Tainted' his career when it became clear he'd rather hangout with MVP, do weed and 'Fight Da Police'. I don't even recall the last relevant thing Mysterio has done in years...

If I'm in the wrong, prove me wrong; it's that simple.

Not his "legacy" but his future career in the WWE should he ever want to go back there MAY be "tainted".WWE may not want the publicity ... then again The Great Khali is responsible for an accidental death too and Superfly Jimmy Snuka killed his ex girlfriend and made it to the WWE Hall of Fame (1996).

no, it was a freak accident. D'lo was on an up and comer, Rey is a legend in the twilight of his career

I had a stroke (crypto) when I was eight, so if anyone knows a freak accident its me. Who knows what med condition Perro had? Who knows if he took drugs/painkillers-had a weak heart, anuerysm, etc? He just happened to be in the ring when he died.

No. He is a legend, and a hall of famer.
