my paragon software only copies files from my mac yosemite 10.10.2 OS TO my NTFS structured external hard drive that i had used when i used windows XP pro ed.
i need the reverse: photo files copied INTO my macbook pro FROM the external NTFS drive. what is the solution?
connecting the EHD to the mac by USB does nothing. HELP!

Paragon software is not copying anything. It only provides an alternate file system extension for connection to that NT file system.
The solution is DRAG AND DROP. There is nothing at all that will prevent copying files from any external drive – NO MATTER WHAT FORMAT – to the computer's internal drive, unless you added some special file encryption to the external drive.
You DO NOT need to change the drive's format. NTFS has NO LIMITATION AT ALL for copying files from it to a Mac format drive.

You need the external drive formatted to FAT32 or exfat to do that.
