Is taking 1 ap good enough?
For next year I only want to take one AP course, Ap Calculus AB but my mom wants me to take AP physics and AP mechanics. How can I convince my mom? She keeps comparing me with a bunch of other Asian kids who are taking like 6-7 APs next year. Currently I m taking 3 APs this year and they are crazy time consuming... I don t want to repeat this again next year.

It is really important to take as many AP classes as possible. Colleges want to see that you are taking a rigorous course schedule in your senior year and still challenge yourself. The more the better, as long as you do well in the classes.
