    I'll do the first one. The second is done exactly the same way:

    y = (x + 4)(x - 1)(x - 5)

    Just multiply the three binomials together. Start with any two, then multiply the remaining binomial by the resulting trinomial:

    y = (x² + 3x - 4)(x - 5)

    y = x³ - 5x² + 3x² - 15x - 4x + 20

    y = x³ - 2x² - 19x + 20

    1.

    y = (x + 4) (x² - 6x + 5)

    y = x³ - 2x² - 19x + 20

    2.

    y = (x² - 4) (x + 9)

    y = x³ + 9x ² - 4x - 36

    y = (x - 2)(x + 2)(x + 9)

    y = (x^2 - 4)(x + 9)

    y = x^3 + 9x^2 - 4x - 36
